Ladd Harrison Signs with UNC Tar Heels

Ladd Harrison is one of TAS' nationally ranked juniors who signed a letter of intent to play for The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Ladd is pictured here with two friends, the Bryan brothers. Ladd is a unique situation because he was told 3 times that he would not be admitted to UNC. Ladd turned down a scholarship to Furman University as he was set on UNC. Just before school started Ladd got a text from UNC saying he was accepted. Perserverence at its best. His nickname at UNC is "The Iron Man".

After two successful surgeries and a lot of rehab I have finally returned to peak form. Last Friday my son Shaun and I won the National Senior Father Son Grass Courts in Piping Rock, New York. It is our second national title. We did not lose more than 5 games in any of our matches and beat a very good team from California in the finals."
